Learning at Home

When Covid 19 stopped us from going to school, or going out anywhere, I thought I am going to sit at home and chill, watch TV, talk to friends … However All good things don’t last long :(. Sure enough, soon our … school started online classes, in fact they doubled our work … and we all had to deal with makeshift online class rooms!!

Well I thought since we do not have a choice here, let me see how I can make it easier to learn from home. You know when I went on the internet to do research, I first wrote “schooling from home” and then I learnt that it is a totally different thing. So for clarity, what we are doing now is “online school” and not “home school”. Well in case you didn't know, home school is when you do not go to school and your parents or some other teacher, teaches you at home at their own pace but the same curriculum. Did you know that in the USA alone there are 2.3 Million kids doing home school!!! And this number was only 1600 till 4 years back. Wow seems like home schooling is getting popular. Little fun fact, if your parents homeschool you, they can get many discounts for shopping which are meant only for teachers. Anyways let us come back to our topic online school, so I thought what could be the best part of online schooling and here is what i could think of:

Now that we looked at Pros & Cons, the next logical thing I wanted to know was what can I do to make learning from home easy and also very important to guard against all the potential downsides … so here is what I learnt about what I should Do or Not Do when learning from home or doing online schooling
